1/2″ x 1/2″ surface conditioning spiral bands are non-woven abrasives that are rolled into a tube and fused to form an abrasive band that can be used to debur, finish, and polish in confined spaces that belts cannot reach. The “no lap” spiral configuration provides clean, consistent finish without leaving shadow marks. Each .5 inch surface conditioning spiral band is made with premium nylon webbing infused with aluminum oxide grains. The porous, non woven structure promotes airflow and resists loading which prolongs the useful life of the wheel and reduces heat buildup which may stain or distort work pieces. The .5″ x .5″ spiral band abrasive spiral that is perfect for precision, hand-guided work on curved and flat surfaces. These 1/2 inch surface conditioning bands are a very versatile abrasive that can be used on metal or wood. This nonwoven spiral band requires an easy to use, slip on rubber mandrel that expands during use to lock in the band.
