These belts are extremely versatile; the premium dense zirconia grains on each 43” x 75” inch wide sanding belt were formulated for aggressive and heavy stock removal applications while the open coated characteristic allows it to grind on softer materials without loading. Due to the self-sharpening properties of zirconia, it will cut faster and more consistently for a longer duration of time than aluminum oxide alternatives. The zirconia grains can last 2-3 times longer than aluminum oxide grains on belts when being used for heavy-duty, aggressive applications. The 43” x 75” Zirconia belts can be run wet or dry and are designed for abrasive planning, sanding, grinding, deburring, surfacing, and finishing on wide-belt sanders.
